Publisher's summary

Jack Sanders built his career as an army intelligence operative on his uncanny ability to anticipate what the enemy will do next - but he never anticipated the trouble he's landed in. Removed from duty, his future on the line, he'll have to accept a truly unusual mission to redeem himself. His orders are clear: head to Montana, marry General Reed's daughter, and secure the family's ranch once and for all from the drug cartel trying to get a toe hold in Chance Creek.

Everyone knows Alice Reed gets hunches about what might happen. What they don't know is she's got one blind spot: her own future. But she's watched four men arrive to marry her four sisters. It doesn't take a psychic to predict her father plans to send a man for her, as well.

But when Jack arrives, Alice knows she's in trouble. He seems as aware of the future as she is, and he wants something from her she swore she'd never give to a man her father sent. Her heart.

Contains mature themes.

An excellent ending (almost) to a fascinating series. Actually, much better than I had imagined it would be. The overall threat to Two Willows is abolished. All the men are either married or about to be. Or are they? I guess you'll have to listen to find out.

Wendy Tremont King did an excellent job narrating this series. Bravo.

This story stands on it's own. There is an overall story arch that flows from one story to another but you do not need it to get lost in the current story.

Weird, Wacky, Wonderful

Narrator is definitely voicing Amelia. Splendid!!

Ok, last blood daughter but not last story... that's a great thing!! Alice, the daughter with the Sight and her love Jack. How hysterically frustrating for Jack not to be allowed into the Maze, but he shows his determination to get what he wants/needs without being destructive. I kept wondering why Alice chose to let herself be mistreated by Landon, but we as humans often willfully refuse to see what's right in front of us because we sooo much want a different ending. Same with the General's love, pain and missing his wife allowing him to shut out his daughters until he had no other choice. General is not the first to do this, nor will he be the last, he's human. But, in his defense, he called "muster" to let everyone have their say and took it like an officer and a gentleman should handle conflict!! This is the end of the major conflict, but not the end of the General's matchmaking. 😁 Starting the next one, now...

FABULOUS SERIES!

I LOVE this series!
It has the right ingredients of action, mystery, surprises, humor LOVE & PASSION to keep me addicted throughout. Cora Seton has a talent for picture imagery taking us on a wonderful journey!
It would have been a HUGE task for Wendy to narrator such a large number of characters & to her credit she brought all of them to life most enjoyablely!
ENJOY!
