this was hands down Bernard Clark's best performance. amazing. killed it. my fav so far.

A delight for word nerds...

An excellent read, fun to visit multiple times. Steven Brust is a rare wit, and spins an at times laugh out loud yarn... it's hard to waite for the next installment.

So Much Learning!

I absolutely loved this book. We got to learn more about the creation of Draegarans and Easterners as well as learn much of the lore.

Loved It, on to Dzur!!

I'm a little bias as this series is my favourite, but of the Vlad Taltos, series this is one of 3 favourite books. The character development is amazing. I love the dialogue. This audio reading was a little lacklustre compared to others in this series by the same group, but it certainly isn't bad. This story is pivotal to the series and Brust never hesitates to be more than entertaining. My Toronto commute is so much more bearable.
