Publisher's summary

Caleb Greene has everything thanks to his multimillion dollar tech company, including a lawsuit from a former partner. Escaping the crush of responsibilities seemed to be the thing he needed. A getaway to New York for a visit with old buddy Dex Truitt was supposed to be just that, until a chance meeting with a goddess changed his direction altogether. She was so intriguing, he found himself doing things he would never consider...even masquerading as an intern at Montague. But will his part-time distraction become a full time obsession?

Geneva Chapman is the newest Montague Director, top of her field. Her life changed for the better and she had everything under control. The one thing she hadn’t bargained for was the sexy intern now in her charge. All she needed to do was ignore him. As it turned out, that was harder to do than she could have ever anticipated. Caleb Green was an irresistible intern.

Loved it!

I loved everything about this story! Delicious hero, smart and independent heroine, amazing chemistry and an awesome twist on the boss and employee trophy! And the voices of the narrators, swoon!

Sweet story

This was a New To Me Author and I really enjoyed the story. It was very sweet with no angst. A nice easy read. Jakobi Diem and Nicole Small were amazing.

Predictably Cute Caleb and Gigi

Listened because of the narrator duo, but stayed for the characters. While the storyline was predictable it was also cute and the epilogue made me smile.

Aliza is irresistible

I am blown away by this book and its performance! Aliza Mann is a talented storyteller, and I was hooked from the beginning. She weaves the main characters’ flaws in with the storyline in a seamless fashion, creating a relatable, funny and swoon-worthy tale for Caleb and Geneva. This is a very slow burn, building anticipation right up to the end for how it would all play out.

Jakobi Diem is my favorite narrator, and he still was able to surprise me somehow with his nuanced depiction of the hero. Nicole Small just gets better and better every time I hear her, and she does a fantastic job with GiGi and her Bronx-born sister. Loved this, and I’m looking forward to more from Ms. Mann! Highly recommend.

Fabulous story and perfect narration

This was a beautifully crafted story with characters that were both relatable and well well developed. Highly recommend. The narrators are perfect. I love their voices.

First time reader of this author

The instant connection between Mac and Geneva was cute. I enjoyed their build up and how he was willing to "change" who he was just to be around her. I also enjoyed the sister, she was smart and witty. Rating:💜💜💜💜💜

Great narration, predictable story

I enjoyed the writing, but there was nothing original about the story. It was your typical Hallmark movie type story with no hint of reality or surprise. I had hoped for more. But, the narrators were incredible (per usual for both of them).

Jakobi Diem and Nicole Small are at the top of their game. Doesn't matter the story, these two will pull you in. Impeccable narration.

Pretty good story

The story left me feeling like I missed something. I kept going back to ensure I didn’t skip a part somehow. The book Narration from Nicole Small was just okay but Jakobi Diem saved the story for me. All in all if I could do it again I’d save my credit.
