I will always preface my reviews on Hero Club by discussing my struggle in the past with connecting with that world. Even still, I can never completely write them off.

Cocky Tech God was so good. Roe Valentine is a new to me author and she gave me some righteous characters. The Heroine, Lucia, is strong and comfortable in herself as a sexual being. No shrinking violet here. Hansen, our Hero, is her business competition and loves the ladies. Their banter is witty and chemistry is obvious. They are both slightly broken but I love how there wasn't the unnecessary angst sometimes used to get to the HEA.

The narration was GREAT. Teddy Hamilton gave me all the feelings. And Vivienne LaRue was impressive.

Loved this story!

This story developed perfectly for me. I cared about both hero and heroine. It was the exact right amount of hot, with sweetness peppered in. Narrators were amazing.

Scorching Hot Romance and Perfect Audio Performance

I really enjoyed the audiobook Cocky Tech God. The banter between Lucia and Hansen is very real and it’s also original. Two people deciding to take a chance and going for a fling, who then discover they have a lot more in common than they ever would have thought, and then trying to balance a competitive work relationship to complicate things even more. I enjoyed the his/her viewpoints and thought the talented readers who played each part were the perfect choice. Great audiobook, I loved it!

Disappointed

The best thing about this audio book was Teddy Hamilton. He is one of two male narrators that could probably read a grocery list and catch my interest. The female narrator was acceptable, but would have preferred another. I generally prefer either more action / suspense or more comedy in my romance. This had potential, hot nerd is one of my preferred romance hero types, but I felt disappointed. Also by the end I kind of felt like the female lead didn't deserve the male lead. I get fear of being hurt...but she just seemed like she was too fast to walk away from him as soon as things got tough ....and basically did not show him the same care and respect that he showed her.
