Thomas Herold is my favorite author when it comes to knowing financial terms. All of my questions about it were answered. In this guide, there are 296 investment terms he shared and explained.
Being new to the financial world, there are lots of words/terminologies we do not know. With that, we often have problems when it comes to understanding what those words mean. Thomas shared his knowledge about financial terminologies. He explains them all in detail with practical examples.

If you are looking for a guide to learn investement lingo, I wholeheartedly suggest this book.
Knowing Investment terms helps you understand and comprehend most common Investment lingo. Each of the Investment terms is explained in detail and also gives practical examples. This guide was written with an emphasis to quickly grasp the context without using jargon.
Through it, broadenend my knowledge about Bond Market, Bonds, Capital Appreciation, Capital Control, Cash Flow, Closed End Funds, Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO), Collateralized Mortgage Obligation (CMO), IRA Custodian, Junk Bonds, Margin Trading, Market Capitalization, Simple IRA, Trust Fund, Preferred Stock, and Proprietary Trading, among others.
I am almost half way through the book and can actually understand what I am studying. The transparency makes for a positive experience. You don't need a PhD to understand the financial market.
