Great story, terrible narration

Loved the story and follow up on book one but man, AI generated narration was terrible. He should have used the same narrator as the first book. Might have saved some $$$ but the result was very disappointing.

What an unfortunate turn of events.

The first book was really good and I was looking forward to this one. It was to me thoroughly disappointing.

I wished a real person was reading this book, it wasn’t a good as the first simply because of the monotone robotic voice that could not portray the characters accurately

Liked the story overall, hated the virtual voice reading of it. Look forward to more books.

virtual voice ruins a story

when the bland robotic voice has the same tone and cadence no matter what is going on, it ruins the experience. This is like listening to a young child who understands how to pronounce the words, but not how a sentence works.

Good thing this was free with membership. No way I would want to burn a credit on it. If this is the future of audio books, they will die away.

The story is engaging. It deserves so much better.

even at the incredible price of free dollars, this is unlistened-to-able. love the first one, loved the storytelling, loved the reader. I will wait and pay for the real thing when they release it with a real voice actor.

the AI narrator

The narrator of this is absolutely horrible. He misspeaks a lot of words, skips words. It doesn't fully tell the story. It sounds more like he, it bounces around the pages and messes up the whole flow of the book
