Publisher's Summary

I didn’t mean to see him naked - it was an accident.

It had to be, right?

Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he's always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never wanted to mess with that.

Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.

I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.

After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.

But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.

(Talk about a hot mess.)

After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.

He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.

It’s all in fun...or is it?

It was just OK

I want to start out by saying this was not a bad book. The writing is great and well thought out. As are all of Melanie Harlow’s books. This one just didn’t connect with me like the others. Noah was a bit of a downer. And he kept switching on and off. So that was a turn off for me. I also didn’t like how the meat of the story was mostly about other characters. So, this one is not one of my favorites. But still...not a terrible book

A great addition to the Cloverleigh Series!

So... I liked Meg and Noah's story more than Chloe and Oliver's (because I really couldn't stand Oliver), but not as much as Frannie and Mac's (they are the real MVP's of this series so far, but if and when Sylvia gets a book, I can see her HEA giving them a run for their money). I enjoyed the friends-to-lovers trope of Insatiable and the fact that it's also sort of a second chance as well. The backdrop of Frannie's wedding, having all the Sawyer sisters together for the first time on page, Noah's family (his niece had me cracking up on several occasions), and meeting Meg as she goes through a breakup all served to make Insatiable an enjoyable and memorable book. I'm a big fan of this series and can't wait to see what Melanie Harlow does with the last two sisters and maybe even Henry DeSantis, the winemaker at Cloverleigh! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

Another great addition for the Sawyer sisters

There’s just something about Harlows books that just draws me in...to the point where I can’t stop listening. A much slower burn for Meg and Noah’s love story but once they got there, they definitely were Insatiable. Always love a warm HEA!! Great Narration too!

heartwarming

The Cloverleigh Farm series is my favorite! I absolutely loved Meg and Noah. The fact that Meg understands Noah so well and how deep his feelings go towards taking care of his brother just warms my heart. The race was just everything for me.

Love this series!

Welcome back to Cloverleigh Farms...where the Sawyer sisters discover love...
This is Megan’s story. Megan the workaholic, who is a failure at relationships. When she takes a break from her job and yet another failed relationship, Megan heads home earlier than expected for her youngest sister’s wedding. She intends to catch up with her childhood friend and confidant, now-Deputy Sheriff Noah McCormick. Will they explore the underlying attraction they’ve always had for each other?
After a bad breakup two years ago, Noah has decided that relationships are bad and he’ll remain single and take care of his twin brother, who has CP. Noah didn’t count on falling for Megan. Will he stick to his guns regarding relationships or recognize the live of a lifetime?
Another great book in the series. Can’t wait for more!!

Excellent narrators!

Meg and Noah’s high school friendship turns to romance when she comes home to Michigan for her sister’s wedding festivities and I like this couple very much. The inclusion of their extended families and Noah’s special needs twin brother was a huge part of their storyline and Noah’s guilt over his brother’s health challenges are a huge hurdle in their relationship. Their story is filled with Rachel sex scenes, family members and emotion connections that I really enjoyed. I listened to the audiobook and the narration performances of Savannah Peachwood and Stephen Dexter were excellent!

Couldn’t get enough!!

I am obsessed with this story!
I mean it’s never hard to fall in love with Stephen dexter and his swoony, deep, voice, and savannah peachwood is always a favorite of mine.
They do such an amazing job bringing the characters to life and animating the imagery of the words.
Beyond that, the story was just so heartfelt and sweet.
I found myself reacting to the things the characters did or said out loud to myself from gasping in disbelief to being so frustrated at the stubbornness.
Noah and Meg are sooooo perfect together, and it made my heart so happy to have their story told.
Not to mention, the steamy scenes were just…wow. Absolutely steamy indeed. Their chemistry and the believability of the situations just added to the already earth shattering moments.
10/10 recommend. As much as I adore a little angst, I loved that it didn’t overshadow the happy ending, and the tidy bow wrapping everything up in the epilogue.

Noah & Meg

Thoroughly enjoyed this story , its contents and the Characters. Stephen Dexter and Savannah Peachwood were the perfect duo in the telling of their story. A women's hero literally and figuratively and his struggles of denying his own happiness out of a sense of guilt of his and his brothers birth selection in life. Luve does conquer all.

Wonderful romantic journey

Meg and Noah's love story begins during their teenage years, but neither reveal their true feelings and life's events cause them to drift apart but retaining a deep friendship. I really appreciated how their deep love and disappointments were described and brought to the surface by the narrators. They did an amazing job. The story deserves more than 5 stars and I heartily recommend this book.

Arresting story

Highly enjoyable impassioned drama full of humour and family tribulations. Starts slowly but builds to a full on crescendo. Beautifully narrated by Stephen Dexter, but Savannah matches him well. This is a fully fledged story, no light weight rom/com in any way, touching on several sensitive issues.

The hot sex fires up through phone sex, to the full hands on version to include hand-cuffs. (Misadventures in Blue is another excellent story of loving a cop available on Audible). A pleasing HEA and a lovely way to spend 8hrs in one sitting.

Chapter 15 is repeated.

LOVED IT !

Another brilliant addition to the series.

I am loving this series.

Heart warming, hot, loveable characters and much more.

I love how close the Sawyer sisters are and have enjoyed each book that I haven't even read in order but the Author gives no spoilers away, so each book can be read as a stand-alone and doesn't need to be read in order.

A perfect sunday read or an uplifting audio. This series has everything I love in my contemporary romance reads.

Another fabulously dual narrated audio. Looking forward to listening or reading more from Melanie Harlow.

Pushing the boundaries to get what you want

Life-long guilt over something that was not in his control, made Noah a broken character, who didn’t believe he deserved happiness.
Death of his father made his mother cling to Asher and use him as a crutch.

Meg was gutsy enough to keep going after what she wanted.

Perfection!!!

Noah and Meg were great characters (I love police dog handlers) who had an awesome friendship that turned into an awesome relationship. The book was well written, the characters were well developed and the chemistry was off the charts. The perfect combination. The story was sweet at times and heart breaking in others but the author made the transition work well. The narration was perfect bringing the characters to life.

This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
