Publisher's summary

New paths of survival yet untrodden. Bonds to be forged. A city needing upheaval.

Barely savoring their triumph in crossing the Ock River, the Dreg Warriors find themselves pushed into a position of defense. The enigmatic city of Ocala looms, offering potential resources and points of contact necessary for the Allied Towns to flourish. Yet, beneath the city's veneer lies a fragile equilibrium among its Factions, a balance ripe for disruption.

Ron and the intrepid Bunker Busters embark on an audacious mission, with the sole goal of upheaving the precarious status quo. Outnumbered yet undaunted, the Dreg Warriors plunge into the heart of Ocala, participating in the city's famed Hog Parade. This is more than a spectacle; it's a chance to showcase their hard-won skills by pitting them against those that wove magic into old-world contests.

Yet, a question lingers in the air: will the alliances they forge be enough to withstand the winds of change, or will the deceptive tranquility of the city slap them away from the grand stage?

the over all books is a good continuation of the story and I can't wait to see where it goes from here

the accents where so bad compared to the other narrator the new one made some young characters sound like they where in the 40s and 50s

Love the World Building

**I received an ARC from Mountaindale Press**

Performance: Narrator changed from previous books. That comes with it's ups and downs. I love Austin Rising and every time he does the Vaudevillain voice it reinforces that. Previous narrator was much better at portraying the Hispanic characters, but Austin's voice seems a perfect fit for the Main Character.

Story: I love the world building in this series. The world is like a slowly blooming flower. This applies both to the literal geographic world building happening along with the LitRPG mechanics. You can really tell the author is putting a lot of effort into conceptualizing this adventure and system.

One thing I would love to see in the future for this world is spin off series showing how other characters in the story made their way. I would have loved for this main series to be more focused on individualized POVs of the 3 bunker busters but it is Ronin centric with the other two being tag-alongs more and more. That doesn't detract from the adventure though, just a personal preference.

Either way can't wait for book 6 and beyond.
