Publisher's summary

Trying times ahead.

The crew of the USCS Tempest may have escaped near-death near the Excel Nebula, but their journey is just beginning. As Caspian tries to find his place among the crew on their journey to unknown space, Evie is haunted by ghosts of her past. Both of them will have to work together if they want to find out what's going on with the threat known only as Andromeda.

Meanwhile, light-years beyond where any Coalition ship has ever ventured, a lone pirate is desperate to survive. When he comes upon the irresistible USCS Tempest, he finds he may have bitten off more than he can chew. And once the crew finally does make it to their destination, they'll find Andromeda is not only stranger than they could have ever imagined, but much more deadly as well.

The entire crew will be tested as Andromeda pulls them to the brink of destruction, and it will be up to Cas and Evie to keep them from plunging over the edge.

Infinity's End: Books 4-6 includes Journey's Edge, Secrets Past, and Planetfall from the Infinity's End series. Also included is a bonus short story, "The Interview".

Main character is more secondary

Disappointed, why the hell has the main character become so Insignificant. Ever since the first book his rule has been more of an insult to main characters everywhere. He is sayed to be a great engineer, then oh look several other engineers several even better then him. Then secondary characters just dismiss hum like he doesn't matter. Hell one other character developes a second awesome skill set, another pretty much has super powers. Yet here is the character the first book is freacking named after still getting screwed over in every situation.

Star Trek Ripoff

The writers of all the Star Trek series should sue this guy for copyright infringement. Reminds me of that kid in school that would use cliff note books to write an essay! Shame Shame Shame!!!!!!!!

The author should do some research.

Anyone who has any knowledge the military, oh hell, anyone who has even seen an episode of Gomer Pyle, should run away from this monstrosity.

The First Officer in this farce is originally billed as a competent, dedicated officer, what a joke. As first officer, while on a crital mission to save her federation from alien attack, she forms a romantic attachment to a junior officer in her chain of command. This type of relationship is taboo in any military. Then after a tragic attack leaves the Captain on deaths door, our 'dedicated' first officer - now in command, takes a time out for a little 'make out' session with her girl toy. Just to make the already endangered crews moral really soar, she has this little 'kissing session' in full view of, a hopefully distracted, crew, that are trying desperately to repair the ship!

It really is unfortunate that the writer or editors of this mess preffers to pander to the baser parts of human nature. There are actually some worthwhile parts to this this effort. The characters do have some depth(the advantage of a series). The story arc, while not particularly original, moves along at a reasonable rate.

The narrator does a good job with what he has to work with.

Neither of the last two points makes this worth a listen, I gave up and returned it.
