Something that I loved and can't wait to share

I read this book as part of my bookclub and I can say honestly say its my favorit thing I read this year. 5 out of 5 for sure.

COOK PACKED A PUNCH WITH THIS AWE-INSPIRING NOVEL

FANTASTIC BOOK! What else can be said? If you are looking for a true story that moves mountains and threatens a corrupt institution, then this is your book. I listened to this while working out, and couldn't stop once I got home. I finished it in record time. His voice carries so much weight but you can't help but feel yourself in his words. This should be taught in classrooms at universities.

Cook is my new favorite author!

This book is infectiously funny and tragic, all at the same time. It pulls on your heart strings while making you think about how corrupt our criminal justice and police have become. I loved it and I highly recommend it.

This is a call for action from not just any voice in the dark, but an educated, well-spoken man, who has seen horrors that most of us don't understand. This is a book I plan on reading again because there are so many meaningful layers. I loved it.

Through the turmoil of Covid, Cook shows us that not only is he able to survive but he also can produce what will be known as an American Masterpiece in years to come. Very impressive. This book is a MUST listen to.

Cook is a wonderful author with a hard life

This story shows us behind the curtain of the corrupt American Justice system. If you love dark humor and great writing, buy this audiobook.

This book stands out as one of my favorites

Cook goes through so much in this book and it’s sad that our system does this to people who don’t deserve it. Highly recommended for a fun entertaining yet eye-opening experience.

I loved the references to the Nazgul and Adar. He did a great job too on the book. shame this kind of injustice happens in our country.
