Publisher's summary

Earth has fallen.

The Xortaag fleet outnumbers the humans’ five to one, and using their mind-control machine, they can use all the Earth’s military forces against their own kind. The Xortaag colony ships are only a few weeks away, and when they arrive, they'll wipe out the human race to have space and resources for their people.

And as if all this wasn’t bad enough, General Planetary Genocide Maada has just laid a trap for the Earth fleet and decimated a large chunk of their forces.

To make things worse, an even more sinister threat (yeah, more sinister than the Xortaags) is emerging 1500 years in the future. An alien scientist is trying to send a two-hundred-thousand-strong armada back in time to exterminate all sentient life in our galaxy. Will he succeed?

How can our heroes fight against such insurmountable odds?

Indomitable, the second book in Invasion: Earth Saga, boasts the same high-octane, non-stop action sequences as the first, and combined with its shocking twists and unforgettable characters, it’s a must-listen for all space opera/military sci-fi fans. Sink your teeth into Jim’s next set of adventures today!

Note from the author: This is a dark and gritty reboot of the humorous Crimson Deathbringer series. Please see “From the Author” for more information. If you’ve read and enjoyed the original series, I don’t think you should listen to this; you’ll probably hate it. On the other hand, if you listen to The Crimson Deathbringer and liked the story but not the comedy, maybe give this version a chance.

Great continuation.

This book and characters played well off of the 1st in the series. The narrator does a good job again. still some issues in editing where some sentences may repeat. All in all a great series still.

Great sequel

It might have taken most of book one for me to really get to know the characters so book two connected faster with the many of the main players returning.
The humor is good, the action is packed and the narrator adds fitting characterization to the voices. If you have read book 1 then definitely give this one a listen, if you haven't, get book 1 AND two.

Mostly serious

This book did not make me laugh like the first one. Even though it had many references to Star Trek, it was a book filled with serious issues.

Fantastic

This is the second book in this series and it's just as good as the first. Great space opera.
