Interesting ideas on something I find intriguing

This book breaks down and shows some useful ways to both improve your memory and why you might not remember things, to begin with. I don't know what exactly I expected to find within, but what I got is definitely the realistic side of improving your memory and not some movie fantasy version of perfect memory. We get a breakdown of memory issues, techniques to improve memory and tips to enact to help us make these things a habit. As with most things in life once you look beyond the idealized versions of them you find that the way to get these things takes a lot of hard work and dedication, memory is no exception. The narration was solid with a good clear voice and an even pace to deliver all the information in a manner to help me consume it. This book both illuminates the magical "photographic memory" and helps you learn things to help yourself remember things better and clearer.

Unlimited Memory

Incredible Unlimited Memory was an interesting listen. Not sure how much was usable for me. I will try to incorporate what I have learned into my daily life. Right now I'm not convinced. I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Walk the talk listener!

It's jam-packed with useful information. First, you have to listen and learn. Then, you'll need to listen to it some more to let the concepts sink in. Last, but not least, you must have time and patience to put everything it teaches you into practice.

An Interesting Guide

If you are looking for a quick way to having an amazing memory then this book isn't for you. However, if you are looking for a guide to help you understand how our memory works and give exercises to improve your memory then you'll find this book very useful. Ethan Lucas breaks down how our memory works and what we can do to break the molds we put ourselves in. It takes a willingness to look at your own mind and determination to work on the exercises given. It's nothing that will happen overnight but if you are serious then you could gain as much as you put in. The narration was nicely done. Ronald Hillman has a nice voice and speaks in an easy cadence.

Not what I expected

I listened to this book thinking I might get some memory improvement ideas. I almost gave up on this book in the first couple chapters when all the talk was about different types of memory issues. It began as more of a medical type book than a helping my memory book. When the techniques were discussed, some of them seemed to be more practical than others. Some of them just seem like a lot of work and I feel I would have to be totally focused on doing certain things and not paying attention to anything else. While some may fit into my daily life, some techniques sounded like they would be as tedious as a long, drawn out math problem. Overall, I feel it is worth listening to or reading but it wasn't as practical for me as I had hoped. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.
