I would not compare this to another book. Other books give a similar message however, this books is constructed far more logically.

really great book from The HubSpot originator Dev guy!

this book goes into great details about efficiently gaining new clients. it's unbelievable to think that it pioneered some of the modern sales terminology like funnels or leads

Basic foundation

It was an interesting book. Good for the beginner to inbound marketing. I did get some good nuggets of information. And it was a good reminder of things I should be doing and reinforced many of the strategies I am already doing.

Great book! The inside SEO trade secretes the “SEO” professionals don’t want you to know.

This book was very well written and to the piont about how to hire and what to look for in your SEO life. The narrator voice was perfect for the material and not pompous at all. If anyone didn’t like this book or thought the narrator was pompous I could only guess that they are in SEO business and have taken offense to the authors position on how to hire and what to ask for in an SEO guru before handing your money over.

Ground breaking!

I read the book several years ago and loved. After getting a new marketing position I went back to the book to freshen up.

Wonderful Tools and Step-By-Step Strategies

This book is a great tool for anyone with a web site. Must read. He gives great "To-Do" lists at the end of each chapter. He really lays out a blueprint for you to easy follow, no matter what your level of skill is. Worth every minute and penny.

Forgets there is still a world outside the net!

The book is a good book, and I really did genuinely learn a lot from it, but the author completely ignores the fact that there is still a thriving world outside the internet and there are still people out there without internet connectivity. He also completely dismisses the value of all non internet media. While the returns from non internet media have diminished drastically compared to how they used to be, they still have massive reach and potential. I still do give this book 4 stars because the advice it does give about marketing on the internet has proved valuable and useful to me, although my good old printed media marketing has had far stronger impact to date, having a magazine write a 3 page positive review of your service, has a very strong impact and adds lots of credibility to your business. Much more so than my blog which has a grand total of 6 comments so far! Besides, in the region where I live, the bulk of people in the age group where they could be my potential customers find social media sites as trivial and more suited for youngsters (as can be proven by the typical member demographics in these sites when you look for members from my country).

Great Audio book with great ideas.

This book has perfectly structured, easy to understand and has the most update trends. I highly Recommend to entrprenuers for taking advantage of Internet Inbound Marketing.

Keep a notebook handy....you're going to need it!!

Educational & Motivating. I had pages and pages of notes full of ideas by the time the book was finished. Since then, I've re-listened 3 more times and taken Hubspot's Inbound Marketing Certification course....which is the perfect next step after completing this book. I am extremely confident in the direction I want to take with my marketing approach.

It's well narrated and easy to listen to. The bookmark feature will be very useful!
