Loved it!

I really enjoyed the story and the characters. The writing is very descriptive and visual. I look forward to reading more by this author!

In the end..

I was please to find a new series that had a new twist to this genre. The main character being a complete newbie and not some prepped/military type was neat. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just like the different pace with this. I couldn’t tell if it was the story that was to “wordy” or the narrator a little dry. But all in all I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next one. Definitely would recommend this if you like the whole zombie apocalypse genre.

Good story overall

I received this book free for an honest review. While I am not a fan of the zombie genre, I did enjoy this story. My only issue was the lack of emotion by the narrator. This book is read in monotone, and I'm pretty sure that facing actual zombies would excite even the most stoic of people. Overall, the story is a good one. The emotions are written in, just not expressed. Kudos to G. J. Stevens for helping me enjoy a new type of monster!

Surprised how good!!

I can't wait to hear the 2nd book! Love the characters and SHADOW! Well done...I highly recommend! At first I couldn't get into it but I kept listening...everytime I think...this is it... poor Logan is done now... something happens to shift directions. I loathe the stupid Dr. Lytham. I truly hope Logan gets revenge!!

Cool story

Really enjoyed this listen and the narrator did a good job. Definitely want more, the characters came alive and kept me interested throughout.

In the End!

The story was a slow start kinda draggy bit a struggle but I personally have a hard time changing narrators, it may have been just me. Once it did pick up though it was hard to stop listening, love the characters. If u can bond with then like u know them personally, their emotions become yours then that's a big key to a great story. what I loved the most is Shadow lives on I'm a big animal advocate into rescuing. Looking forward to book 2 need to know what happen to the group and how Shadow fares. Easy reading Zombies are my kind love it!

Loved this new take on zombies

I am a lover of Walking Dead show and of course, a new zombie thriller is just so tempting. I wasn't disappointed and am looking forward to listening to the next in the series.

Bad Story Gone Good

I'm use to mediocre post apocalyptic tales. I'm use to good characters in bad stories...neither are true here. Believable people in terrible situations who fight both the emotional and very tangible demons. Well done. Perhaps new narrator and faster pace.

This was a very easy book to get into! Awesome characters, and believable story line. I can’t wait to get further into this series..
