Publisher's Summary

When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.

Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.

Romance meets BDSM

Loved this book. It is not extremely different from other books but I really liked it. I was hooked from chapter one. Elizabeth Powers did a great job of narrating the characters. I love the relationship between Bianca and Stephan. The love and support makes you just smile. I also like the twists and turns with Bianca and James. The fact that James can be dark, mysterious and sex and you never know what he is going to be keeps you listening. My only criticism is that audible does not have the next two books so you either have to read them or hope audible gets them. I wish they would not do that. Either get the entire series or none of it. This seems to happen a lot. Otherwise I think this is a great listen. Like I said it is not wow, crazy new concept but a really solid romantic love story with some twists.

What didn’t you like about Elizabeth Powers’s performance?

She ruined the book for me. I purchased the eBooks last year and loved them. So I thought I could Purchase the audiobooks but Elizabeth Powers voice was great not the other noises her mouth makes. I couldn't tell if she was thirsty or too much spit in her mouth. Totally ruined the book for me

Was In Flight worth the listening time?

yes and no

Any additional comments?

Elizabeth Powers should not narrate books. I'm sorry but the noises she makes are aggravating

James Cavendish please drop in & Spank me!!

Any additional comments?

Billionaire Doms. Will it ever get old? So far, I'm still enjoying them and Lilley’s take on it is exciting. Full of hot and kinky sex this book is very capable of bringing out goosebumps... Bianca is a flight attendant who has a dark past. When she meets James Cavendish, a young, enigmatic billionaire hotel owner, she is immediately drawn to his grace and his body. James is quite the character. He knows what he wants and he will endeavor to get it, whatever it takes. As Bianca becomes his most coveted possession, he soon learns that there is more to the woman than just her submissive nature and her pretty looks. They both share a dark past that makes the BDSM they share together that much more intimate and thrilling. While I liked Bianca and James together, it was Stephan whom I really, really loved. His presence throughout Bianca’s life is touching and incredible. I love how protective and caring he is. I am hoping that he gets his own HEA soon too.

4 stars for Mr. Beautiful

My first thoughts before starting this book was that it must be a rip off of similar books in this genre. I can honestly say the story line does very much share the same vibe as Fifty Shades and the Crossfire series. Was it very original? No. Did I still enjoy it? Yes! The story begins with 23 year old flight attendant named Bianca who encounters the extremely good looking billionaire Mr. James Cavendish in the first class section on one of her flights. They both immediately feel a very strong connection between them and despite Bianca's reservations they begin a steamy hot love affair. After that, Bianca finds herself being drawn in the fascinating, frightening and exciting new world that James introduces to her. Along the way they each have to deal with the troubles from their past that keep haunting them. Bianca especially has been through a lot when she was growing up but even now still manages to stay strong while building a life for herself. Well, build one right beside her best friend Stephan. I just can't write my review without mentioning Stephan .....he is a wonderfully secondary character, his presence in the book provides Bianca with safety & support. He is not only her best friend but her only family. You can't help but adore him. Now lets talk about James, our male lead character, he is another sinfully sexy, tortured billionaire. He's a Dominant and very upfront about his sadistic proclivities in the bedroom. He's a very protective and jealous lover as well as caring and tender. The chemistry between them is off the charts, the love scenes are blistering HOT with light BDSM. Throw in the suspense elements and the uncertainty about the future, the author leaves us compelled to rush ahead to purchase the next book. In Flight is the first of three installments in this series.

Story was OK, bad narration

I really struggled listening to this book. Not because the story was bad but because the entire time the narrorator makes to many gross noises with her mouth! It really distracted me from the story. It sounds like she needed to drink water or something so her mouth would stop making these weird sounds! She unfortunately reads the other two books in the series too and just listening to those audio samples I could hear the same noises. I'm going to have to read those books instead of listening to them. There's no way I can make it through two more books with crackling sloppy saliva sounds!

Yes it has sex. yes it has romance. That's it.

Yes this book has sex. Yes this book has romance. But the story line was terrible and the narration annoying. I don't even want to finish the book.

Am I the only one who didn't like this?

I love corny romance novels of all kinds, but I didn't like this very much at all! I laughed through a few of the sex scenes, and a lot of the behaviors of James really creeped me out. Also, while the narration was good, it sounded as if it was being recorded from within the narrator's mouth, which got annoying. There was entirely too much swallowing and mouth-moving noises.

Not very good..

This story is very dull and the dominance mess is also so lame.
This is a 50 shades copy cat all the way down to the Billionaire starts to own the virgin's life. I wasn't crazy about 50 shades, but it did have a better storyline.
The steamy scenes in this book were not well written.
Yes sir and please sir and calling him Mr. Cavadish sir while parts of her body was pinned and clamped is way too far fetched.

The narrator Elizabeth Powers was just ok. Her voice and tone wasn't appealing.

If you're looking for a great HOT romance series, give the Tangled Series by Emma Chase
and the Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day a shot.
