Really enjoying this series

I really enjoy a series with the same characters, the same heroine/hero, etc. This really meets my needs! And RC Bray is fantastic as an audio artist. He nails each different character and makes us care about them and what happens to them. I have an image in my head for each, which is why I love audio books. I'm reading all of this author's books!

This is as monderful legal series!

Pamela Samuels Young writes legal thrillers that have the right balance of serious and fun. In Firm Pursuit is made even better by the outstanding narration of RC Bray.

Got this as part of a series special. The first book didn't light any fires and this one assured that there would be no possibility of ignition. I've given this author a chance, but now I'm moving on to greener pastures.

Book #2 Thriller with laugher

I hope this series will go on and on and on! I'm hooked to say the least. These books are not being written fast enough. This was my Sunday entertainment, no commercials, no sitting in one place, I even went outside and did some gardening while still listening. In this book you get laugher and the edge of your set adventure with a little violence and the book is easy to follow. I love Vernetta's side kick Special she gives the book balance. R.C Bray just narrated this book with a female lead character and STILL knocked it out of the park.

Fast paced

I enjoyed this second book in the series. The legal situations are interesting and the characters are well developed.

Loved it! Interesting characters!

This book was a surprise because not only was it a legal thriller, but it was peopled with black characters and gave an insight into the black culture of LA. The narration accents also added colour to the characters, in both senses of the word. I enjoyed the main character, but also her friend Special, who was very comical in a strong, opinionated black woman way. I just really enjoyed the journey through a culture I know nothing about, but admire from afar because it is so far removed from my little Canadian backwater! The legal thriller aspect of the book was also very authentic and well done, so overall, I think it's an exceptional novel.
