Tanned boys who refused to grow up, spending their days drinking beer and smoking joints on the beach in between mindless hours in the water. As the surf brands accidentally morphed into a multimillion- then multibillion-dollar industry beginning in the 1980s, however, the derelict portrait began to harm business.

Absolutely magnificent
What a treasure. Like hanging out with your best, and the absolute coolest, friend you could ever imagine and hearing their incredible life stories and legends. Surfer or not, this is a masterpiece. Even when he would “stop” and retake, it felt right. Take note all writers… Tell your own story, don’t let anyone else read it. Thank you MG.

Fantastic stories well told, but..
The author/narrator has not taken the time to edit hir narration. What's worse is that parts of this book is horribly compressed or noise gate added in such a way that some stories are u listenable. It's too bad because there's a lot of good stories in the book.
