Apocalypse – the complete and final destruction of the world….

The world as we know it is in turmoil. The virus continues to attack all humans, leaving a wake of devastation and destruction. There are those who have proven resistant to infection and those who have remained isolated to prevent it. Others that were once part of our civilization have not been so lucky.

The governments of the world had worked together so far, but not at protecting society as we were led to believe. Instead, they worked in unison to preserve their power, at the cost of many millions of lives.

But there is hope. There are a few resistance groups that have formed, some with makeshift governments composed of local officials, some with leading scientists or doctors, furiously working to find their own cure. Others still, made up of groups of families and friends that have bonded together in hardship, work to maintain the most basic of human needs.

Those basic necessities are all that keep us from becoming wild ourselves, until, that is, we are infected.
