Amazing dualing narratives. The story is captivating, the narration is superb, the coming of age is real.

so good

loved the book, the audiobook is just as good. lyrical, some “problematic” relationships that truly feel are common and maybe should not be held against the author, a lot of hurt went into this book and a lot of healing. sometimes it comes in disguise.

Healed me in so many ways

I’m a young teen, who struggled with simply being gay in America. This book showed me so many things. I can’t thank it enough for that.

Underage risky behaviors

I was looking forward to a captivating story with a great plot. The vocabulary is a lot of fun, but thats where my positivity for this book ends. This book was not great. The 13 year olds are often involved in sex, alcohol, and smoking. I don't enjoy any book that promotes such risky behavior from children. It romanticizes children breaking the law and hurting their bodies from substance use. Just want to make sure people truly know what they are buying before they get this book.
