nobody speak to me i am so emotional

10/10 would read again, amazing pacing and amazing characters! the horror and suspense elements were very well done :)

Nice zombie apocalyptic book.

Did I like it? Yes. Did I love it? Mmmm not so much. I wish more content went into it. I felt it was rushed and then ended quickly. Like the whole journey was to end up in their cabin and then what? Not sure cause that’s when it ended. I must have missed the part where it talks about how the outbreak began and crates zombie like rabids. 🧐

Probably better in physical book form

I liked the story well enough, though I wish there was more world building on the outbreak. Seems like it should be the first book in a longer story and left me wanting more (in a not good way).

My biggest recommendation would be to read a physical copy of the book. The narration made it hard to get through. I had to put it on 2x speed to get through the monotone reading which made the book feel even more rushed than the story already was. I think a more experienced narrator would have brought this audiobook to life!

Terrible Narrator

If I were the author, I'd be so disappointed with this narrator. In monotone, she tells the story instead of bringing it to life.

Bland and monotonous

I couldn’t get into the story bc of how bland and unemotional Raquel sounded and I hate to say that but I wish another narrator did this.
