This has been an excellent series and I will continue reading each book. Stories are stand alone and I love the hero’s

I love this story! The narrators do a great job narrating this story. It’s a great brain candy book with an HEA ending. To me, it was worth the credit.

I'm never one to leave reviews, but felt compelled. have never read or listened to Mrs. Vale before. actually found this book doing an audible search for Teddy Hamilton listens. I took a gamble, as it wasnt on Escape or discounted through Kindle Unlimited, but I'm a lush for a disabled veteran. (although Pace was from from disabled.) Glad I took the chance! Geez, Pace is a swoon worthy treat. absolutely, loved Viddy and her perspective, she brought tears on more than one occasion. love this takes place in Kilgore as I live actually less than an hour away and travel there to see our horse veterinarian. an absolute wonderful story line with ALL the feels of a greatly composed book. definitely a fan!

I haven’t listened to all of lani’s stories, but I’ve read a handful and this one is by far my favorite. I love that these two physically broken people are strong by themselves but help make the other even stronger. I just love this story

(Pace & Oakley): TRIGGERS: I.E.D., organ transplants, family neglect, abuse of authority, stalking. OMG, this story was so beautiful and fun. LLV will definitely have you in tears and in stitches. Pace is a double amputee veteran working for the Kilgore police department. He's never met the woman talked about in the article but he knows her as the sister of his friend Ford through the care packages she sent him overseas. Oakley is the middle child of the Spurlock clan and is very sick. She needs a transplant so her family has put out a search for those that match her blood type. Pace has always been interested in her but now he really wants her. They become close and her family takes him in and makes him part of the family. Their love story is slightly slow but not by much. They have great chemistry and are extremely hot together. In the meantime there's drama with both Pace 's former supervisor and his own family. They bring drama drama drama to the story. Such an amazing story. I really loved it.

I love all her books and this one is no exception! I also appreciate how she's now telling us about the second generation of her "book families." I can't wait for the rest of the series to be released
