Luca and Frankie, Narration was perfection

This is one of the best stories I have read. I have already read-listened to it twice. It made me cry. It made me laugh. It will be a favorite I go to many times when I need a good story to enjoy. Wow. I really enjoyed this one. No cheating, no cliffhanger. HEA. Narration was excellent, absolute perfection.

Oh boy, I teared up badly in this book. These characters pulled me in and never let go. Author Lani Lynn Vale knows how to capture her readers for sure.

(Luca & Frankie): TRIGGERS: deployment, MIA, PTSD, depression. Grab your tissues and a bottle of wine, the PLOT TWIST GAME IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE! Three people, couple: Luca and Frankie, Luca's best friend: Malachi. They went to school together and the book starts with Luca and Malachi leaving for deployment with the plan that Luca would marry Frankie when he returns. Only nothing ever happens that easily when the military is involved. When the call is received that Luca is M.I.A. but Malachi has returned, Frankie is broken. Malachi is badly burned but he's ready to return to life. The problem is, he has no memory of what happened to him and the life he lives now, doesn't feel like his own. One thing that does feel like his, Frankie. Only that's not right because she belongs to his best friend. I was so captured in this story because not only are we dealing with a veteran coming home and trying to get his life back, we also have Frankie in the other end dealing with some deep depression over Luca and guilt for developing feelings for Malachi all while working her first year in residency at the hospital with a jerk of a boss. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon truly brought this heartfelt story to life.
Oh my heart! This is an emotional journey to go on with Frankie and Luca. I absolutely loved, adored, and enjoyed every single moment of this book.

what a story

just when you think they cant get any better, this story is outstanding.... Teddy and Erin, my two favorites.. emotional and funny, a great love story with smoking HOT, HOT sex scenes.... Hopefully, more and more to come in this series.... SO worth your credit and the time to listen...

first of all Erin Mallon is by far my favorite narrator and this just adds to her amazingness. this story thiugh will absolutely pull at your heart strings and if it doesn't you may not have one! Excellent duel narration, excellent story, excellent writer!

Heartmelting

loved this book. even though I always read Lani Lynn Vale books when they come out, I always listen when the audio is released!!! if you love heartmelting live stories with HEAs then these are for you!!! Narrators are top notch as always!!!❤❤❤❤

It’s a beautiful story

I’d like to say the negative review talking about missing pieces in the story well yeah there is… you have to read/listen to all the other series because Luka and Frankie’s story runs through others to fully understand this story. That being said it’s a beautiful, pull on your heart strings story.
