Meaningful mystery
Fascinating read. I found the structure and amount of characters hard to track at first, but the mystery kept me going. This one’s going to linger in my mind for ages.

Predictable
I wanted to love this book but it was far too predictable. Maybe that’s the point. It reads exactly like every other non-fiction “man kills woman and gets away with it” story on the news. If the goal was to hammer that message home, it hits the nail on the head. I, for one, would enjoy a story about a man assaulting a woman and being held accountable- that’s real fiction. Something we rarely see on the news or anywhere else in life.
