Publisher's Summary

WSJ best-selling author Ilsa Madden-Mills returns with an all-new enemies-to-lovers second-chance romance between the football hottie and the feisty nerd girl he can’t forget.

I want you . . . even when I hate you.

Blaze Townsend: I hate you.
Charisma Rossi: I hate you more.

She’s been expecting this ever since their latest showdown. She had good reason.

Hottest guy she’s ever seen.
Former fling.
Dumped her in front of all her friends.
At her own party.

So no, she’s not about to forgive and forget just because he sits next to her in class. He thinks all he has to do is turn on those baby blues, and she’ll melt right back into his arms. Please. She’d be crazy to let this cocky player affect her again. (Tell that to her body.)

Charisma Rossi.
Brainy girl with a dash of bad.
The one who got under his skin.
The one he cut loose.

Blaze knows she’s the riskiest prospect at Waylon University, but none of the interchangeable girls he hooks up with have ever made him feel the way she did. There’s absolutely no way he can have the girl and the game.

So why can’t he stop trying to win her back?

Can this wide receiver score the girl or will he make the biggest fumble of his life?

*Steamy and flirty with all the emotional feels, I Hate You is a new adult stand-alone romance.

Best of the series.

I seriously think this book is the best of the series. I love all of Ilsa's books but this one is at the top. I highly recommend the whole series.

Frustrating

This book was so damn frustrating I stopped reading numerous times. It was also so contradicting I don’t think it was edited, so many things were wrong, for example, the H poured out his heart to the h who ran away, then not 48 hours after, she was on a date saying he never told her he wanted her. The constant push and pull between the h and H gave me whiplash. This was my first read from the author but I doubt there’ll be another. Teddy Hamilton was the only bright spot in the book. Savannah was ok but her male voice needs work.

Have I wasted a credit???

I'm a few chapters in and I'm kind of confused... These two did NOT date and only has sex 3 times. Why is she acting like they were an item. The dude used you, move on stop being so dam dramatic. 🙄 so I'll update this review if this gets better, fingers crossed.
Update: Well, I made it through this book. There's never been a time where I wanted to punch a book character in the face so much!!! Charisna is a B*TCH!!! I don't think I could be friends with someone like her. I really don't want to spoil the story for anyone else, this is just my opinion on this story and characters. if I entrusted my friend to take my pet to the vet and find out they were so careless from being distracted with her personal life and almost lose my pet I'd be livid. This has been the first book I've seriously gotten angry over the characters in the story. Just sayin... I don't think she deserved Blaze because of her dam attitude. ughh whatever... The other books in this series I absolutely loved, but this one sucked! Sorry...

LOVED Blaze and Charisma!!!

I have absolutely loved each book in this series but I will say I Hate You took me on more of an emotional and angsty ride. Blaze and Charisma seemed to be in this limbo state of will we or won't we, are we together or are we not, while really they were just too scared to open themselved up to fully embrace a relationship with the other person even though they really wanted to be together.

Reading about Blaze's past and history and lack of a family connection really pulled at my heartstrings and made me an even bigger fan of his when it came to eventually winning Charisma over. It was obvious part way through the book that they were deeply connected and two parts of a whole, that could ultimately heal each other and bring each other peace. They just needed to get to that point.....which for a while there, seemed like it might not ever happen. But oh boy did they have some serious chemistry!!!

I am a huge fan of Ilsa Madden-Mills and really enjoy her writing style. I enjoyed all the characters in the book and of course the grumblings of Vampire Bill. I definitely cannot wait to read more from this author.

I am already a huge fan of Teddy Hamilton and I don't think he could ever disappoint. He rocked this audiobook as well and Savannah Peachwood did an amazing rendition of Charisma. A fabulous listen!!!

Great listen!

This story has a lot of heart and depth! I was hooked from the start and finished it in two days. You will root for these guys and will recognize the pain, hope and growth that comes from real love.

Angsty and Frustrating at times, great for Fans!

I’m a huge fan of Madden-Mills after reading Dirty English. I’ve plowed through all her books and loved them and was really excited to get into this one. It was a tough one, frustrating listening to these characters go back and forth with their emotions. I’m still a fan, maybe this book wasn’t for me.
