Publisher's summary

I Don't Want to Be Like You is Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta's true story about growing up in the 1970s and having to deal with bullying - both physical and verbal - on a regular basis. This book is bold and honest. It's also positive, written with no resentment and only growth.

wonderful book!

I was deeply touched by this book! I felt that finally my experiences were validated and put into words. What has been silent finally came out to the light. its an easy read/listen with very deep substance. its a must read for parents as well as kids who are struggling with finding their voice and personal power to stand up to bullying of any kind.
