"I don't love you anymore." These simple words have the power to send the listener into shock, denial, and desperation. The obvious response is to ask oneself, "What can I do to win my partner back?" In I Don't Love You Anymore, Dr. David Clarke provides just the battle plan needed. Contrary to what many relationship "experts" recommend - weak, passive plans that involve begging or romancing a spouse back - Clarke offers an approach that essentially turns the tables on the wandering spouse. He outlines the biblical view of marriage and more....

Story
You've no doubt heard of the seven-year itch in marriages? It's more than just an urban legend. Half of all first marriages end in divorce by the time they hit the seven-year anniversary. The truly sad aspect of this is that nothing is apparently learned from the first marriage to the second. You may expect the divorce rates for second marriages to fall. Nothing could be further from the truth. Instead, the rate of divorce for second marriages is actually 10 percent higher than for first-time marriages.

Conventional wisdom says that "it takes two" to turn a troubled marriage around and that both partners must have a shared commitment to change. So when couples can't agree on how - or whether - to make their marriage better, many give up or settle for a less-than-satisfying marriage (or think the only way out is divorce). Fortunately, there is an alternative. It Takes One to Tango is a groundbreaking guide that shows how one determined partner can spark lasting, significant change in a marriage.

It's the secret to marriage that every couple seeks, and yet few couples ever find. While both men and women deserve both love and respect, in the midst of conflict the driving need for a woman is love and the driving need for a man is respect. Every sexual mindset, habit, or experience pursued by false beliefs is a "counterfeit climax" in the making, and they could be sabotaging the level of intimacy you are experiencing with your spouse right now. Deep-rooted insecurity from harsh teachings you may have learned about sex or unseen habits like pornography are leading factors to sexual dissatisfaction and false sexual expectations. It's one thing to discover these hurts, but it's an entirely different undertaking to talk about it with your spouse in a healthy way.

Publisher's Summary
What could be good about a bad marriage?
The good news is that couples can get beyond their old marriage and its destructive habits and build a brand-new one with the same spouse. And they can do it in just 90 days, even if only one spouse is committed to change.
Thousands of couples in marriages that are on the brink of divorce will never enter a therapist's office. For others, it's too late by the time they do agree to come. But for more than 20 years, David Clarke has seen marriages turn around in just three months.
In I Don't Want a Divorce, he takes his practical plan and presents it using wit, Scripture, and personal stories to help couples turn difficult marriages into great ones. Whether the issue is communication, the kids, negative attitudes, or even serious sin, Clarke's personalized approach will put listeners on the road to a great marriage.

Biblical References Abound
This book contains many biblical references and if you believe, you will find it easier to accept and follow these suggestions.
If you are agnostic, atheistic, or non-Christian, then this book will have useful content but you may be annoyed with the authors citations of the Bible.
