Brilliant book

I loved this book. I was unsure whether to get the book or the audio book. So glad I chose the audio book. It is ready by the author, and read so wonderfully. Full of humour, pathos, sadness and most of all hope which is conveyed so beautifully. It completely engrossed me. What a life he has lived. Searingly honest. Came away from listening to this wanting to be friends with him. Completely recommend, although it deals with some very dark subject matter and is incredibly sad in parts it is also hilariously funny and uplifting.

Wow! Firstly I’m glad that no matter how Tony tried to self sabotage, that the universe had a different purpose for him - to share his story.
I laughed out loud, I cried, I re listened to some chapters which really resonated (and struck a nerve, and I’ll probably listen to it again!

What did I just listen to?

This is possibly the least coherent memoir I've ever heard. Throughout, I could often not even tell what was going on. But man can he tell a story! It was never boring -- I'm not sure how it's possible that he kept me so riveted. I loved the ride. No one else could have possibly narrated this. Thank you Tony for bringing this book to life. It couldn't have been easy.
