What a heartfelt story

I am in shock and just want to HUG Maria. Her life as a little girl was....well, I cried as I listened. She had to be so strong while feeling alone and invisible. The poems hit me hard too. They gave me so much to think about. I am more aware of self forgiveness and how to overcome negative feelings of oneself. What an inspiring woman you are. A sweet book of poems

I didn’t realize this was going to be a book of poetry. It is a sweet book of poems. Maria Shriver seems like such a wonderful person. She peels back some of her layers in this one and allows you to see more of the emotions of what she has dealt with in life. It’s not a gossip book nor goes into a lot of details. It sounds like she used poetry to help herself heal.

Maria expresses herself so well. She is able to tell her story with passion and emotion. That is even more true of her beautiful poetry.
