Some rivalries are set in stone.

When Harry Andrews meets Martin Haggerty, two human statues collide in a battle that will transform the Chelmsley High Street into a battlefield of the absurd.

What starts as a simple act of jealous sabotage becomes a life-consuming obsession that will push them beyond the limits of dignity, sanity, and the law.

True art knows no boundaries—not even those of common sense.

Welcome to a darkly comedic journey into the world of street performance, where standing still becomes the most dangerous act of all.

Creative story following Harry Andrews and Martin Haggerty, two human statue street performers. Harry has perfected his skill as a human statue and revels in his creativity. Then along comes Martin, a young performer who idolized Harry from the time he was young, who could not wait to show Harry how much he meant to him by way of his human statue creativity. The ensuing competition is at times dark and at times hysterically funny. The lengths these two will go to prove who is better knows no bounds. Really enjoyed Chase Langley's narration.

Darkly humorous, profoundly thought provoking and throughly entertaining, “Human Statues” grabbed me, held me, and would not let me go! I’ve come across some competitive individuals in my time but Harry Andrews and Martin Haggerty set the new standard! I can’t give details without indulging in huge spoilers, but as you listen, see if you too aren’t shocked by the length these two go to while aspiring to prove who’s the best! The writing is EXQUISITE with plenty of the dark; sometimes biting, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes hysterically bawdy humor, I so admire and adore! I laughed, I cringed, I sat stunned, but most of all I was totally absorbed into the world of Harry, Martin, and their performance street art! I was also totally captivated by these two brilliant, beautifully developed characters, and I was very much surprised at how much I came to care about them both! As the story beautifully concluded, I was moved to tears of a different sort and I loved it! I absolutely FIVE fabulous stars LOVED it ALL!
