What if you moved into your dream house and discovered that an obsessive, irrational, hating machine was living right next door? What if you had a background in psychology and thought you could handle it? A seasoned clinician and psychology instructor tells the story of his 10 year struggle to deal with this neighbor from hell, who walked out of a textbook on borderline pathology, and into the lives of he and his wife. He uses this lesson to distill some helpful advice for dealing with this particular brand of nightmare. Humor and humanity are the focus, and everyday language is used to convey the message.

I love the realism of Jonathan Jay book's.
Jonathan's book's should really come with a choking hazard warning's because he has the ability to make you go from seriously listening to breaking out in spontaneous laughter quickly.
I nearly choked on my tea at one point 😄
Jonathan narrates his book's with perfect sarcastic comedic timing which I thoroughly enjoy.
This is my second book by him and I'm glad he kept the same formula for this book.
But on a serious note the things this author and his wife had to endure was seriously mucked up!
The self control it took not to ring their neighbor's neck is beyond me.
They definitely took the high road.
I guess the real moral of this story is..
You probably shouldn't harass the author next door or the whole world will know just what a crazy Bit# h you really are 🤔
I was given this book by the author in exchange for my honest review, my only regret is that I can't give it more stars.
I highly recommend this book.
If you enjoy it you should check out How to tell if your friend is a sociopath.
I promise both book's will have you in stitches while actually learning how to handle the hemorrhoids who unfortunately share your space.
And the gut busting strong language? Well, that's just a bonus 😉
A serious book with humorous undertones 😅😅😅<br />

This is not a book telling you that it is easy to deal with someone who is crazy or that everyone should be able to keep their cool when living next to a crazy person, but rather a basic layout on what should be done. There are also constant reminders that even the author screwed up in dealing with his neighbor and that not retaliating is above all the most important thing.
If you would like a surprisingly light and short crazy story with some useful information this is the book for you. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Enjoyed this book. Made me think about someone in my life who is a borderline and gave me some practical advice on how to deal with it. Really drove home the point on how I should be dealing with it. For that I am grateful and appreciate the book. The only reason it was four stars instead of five was because it was kinda short. I would have LOVED LOVED LOVED to find out more about what the crazy neighbor did to make the author's life miserable but maybe it was a legal issue?
Please note that I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review
How to deal with crazy people...

Jonathan Jaye describes his borderline personality (she's nuts, folks) neighbor who made Glenn Close from Fatal Attraction seem rather stable.
He offers practical advice on how to combat the crazies in your life, and how to cope with the authorities, how to gather evidence, and how to pursue criminal action if it comes to that.
Leave it to Jonathan to deal with a serious topic like this while leaving you giggle-snorting your favorite drink with laughter. But beware: If it's a milkshake, it can be painful.
Note: I was gifted this book for an honest review. Caution: Do not drink liquids through a straw while listening, or you could end up regurgitating those same liquids back through your nose because of unexpected laughter while listening to this book.
