Would highly recommend the audible to anyone that wants to gain better conversation skills. That's what the audible promises and it delivers, from the first chapter and how it all ties together with improv comedy.

Perfect audiobook for an Introvert

I don't fear conversation but often felt like I hit a dead end after "Hi, how are you". This book allows me to take my conversations to more engaging levels and form relationships faster.

Excellent message wrapped in a stingy package

Marshall Rosenberg's work is absolutely amazing in facilitating better communication, but this particular audio book was more of a glossy highlight than anything in-depth to exploring and understanding the principles. I purchased this to share with my husband, but I wound up not bothering since it skipped over some of the more pertinent behind-the-theory information of Rosenberg's bigger audio books. This is more like an advertising brochure with bullet points and a couple analogies.

This is a very concise

This is a very concise little audio book that is written in friendly, conversational prose, as if the author were a good friend talking to you on your couch. As a busy, attachment-minded mother, I liked that it took me only half an hour or so to hear, but I found myself spending more time reflecting on the lessons in the audio book because they were not what I was accustomed to thinking, even with my education and training as a psychotherapist.

this audio book I am grateful

Some audio books only need to be 20 pages, and this audio book I am grateful is that. Concise and right to the heart of the matter - what needs do we have that are or are not being met.I actually felt anger at one of the low ratings given here - I couldn’t believe it! Then I took a U turn and contemplated what needs I have that aren’t being met to the point where I feel angry at such a thing.

Very helpful and simple introduction

Excellent supplement to "Nonviolent Communication," but you do need to hear "Nonviolent Communication" first, since he is mostly discussing how to apply those techniques to your relationships with your children than elaborating the actual techniques.

Kindness and compassion. I have to hear it over and over. So refreshingly contrary to our violent culture. It is natural. Not yet habitual

This is a short overview of very interesting theme

This is a short overview of very interesting themes regarding raising children using non-violent communication philosophy. Sadly, the author never tries to expand them, and the whole purpose of this publication, it seems, is to orient the reader to buy other audio books.
