Highly recommended for anyone!

Julian Treasure did a wonderful job of emulating an engaging use of tonality throughout the course. My only wish is that he spent more time on storytelling as it does not come natural for everyone, especially these days.

There are so many great takeaways I have from this audio book as well as exercises and practice that I will use. Also, I know I will revisit key chapters on a regular basis to internalize certain recommendations. I highly recommend this out to anyone as many of his insights are extremely beneficial for improving everyday conversation.

Don't waste your money buying this title

This book is sold (according to the publisher summary) as a learning tool for those who want to learn how to be an effective communicator. This is a false advertising lie and is wrong to market this title to people who want to learn how to be public speakers.

This book has nine episodes, eight of these episodes are useless fluff with pointless exercises like "take a silent walk in nature", or "use a soundboard to listen to different musical instruments".

Mainly, this book spends five hours telling you to LISTEN in order to be a better communicator. Five and a half hours filled with random information taken from other self-development books about charisma, meditation, and NLP. Now, there is nothing wrong about learning these skills, except, you are not given examples of how to use these skills in real-time.

The author also gives you rules on how to communicate your message, ironically, the author breaks his own rules with this title.
One rule is, know your audience, or, know who you are speaking with. Well, This is an audible title, so, why is the author talking to me as if I was watching a video? is it because this was supposed to be a video course but now he's trying to make some extra money by selling a video course for a listening audience?
Another rule is," be direct and don't waste your listener's patience by adding useless stuff to your presentation". Well, so why is the author wasting our time by telling us how dangerous is to be around loud noises and what is the highest level of sound a person can hear?

The author of this course is a musician and offers little to no experience in public or professional speaking. He constantly refers to his TED talks, but outside of that, there is no useful exercises for someone who wants to speak in one.

In short, this title is called "How to speak so that people want to listen." Well, this title is actually a guide to HOW TO LISTEN SO THAT YOU CAN SPEAK!!!!

Is not a lesson on how to Speak, is a lesson on how to listen coming from a musician who offers no speaking learning material!!!

Finally, there is a review by someone called Peter Pen who gave this title 5 stars. This person's review is a lie, a marketing review that sells you everything this title doesn't have. DON'T LISTEN TO PETER PEN'S REVIEW!!!!

Don't buy this title.
This title cost $17 brand new, well, you can buy three $5 books from Audible's library and get more value for your buck. Buy a charisma book, a public speaking book, and an NLP book and you'll have more useful material than what you will find here.
