Publisher's Summary

I wish I could impart this into every Christian heart - our greatest need is the real, living, vibrant, blinding delight in God. It will produce an endless preoccupation with him that firmly plants us in him.

In the refreshing presence of his spirit, where the things of value lie, we will effortlessly yield divine produce. We ourselves will be lively and revived through anything and everything that comes against us. We shall be blessed with the beauty of godly prosperity in everything we do.

A real Gem of a book by a modern Mystic

It is so very refreshing to hear from a man that loves Jesus as much as I do, or more. This is a book that is short but is full of revelation and wisdom. I really enjoyed it. It was very DEEP. I hope to re- visit it in a few months to get a deeper soaking. It deals with the presence of God, being content in knowing Jesus and puppets one of my favourite passage in scripture psalm 1. I mediated psalm 1 for a number of years until it was manifesting in my life.

The audio narration was a superb job done by Steve Bremner. The audio was so easy to listen to as I read the book at the same time.

With Love

Thank Goodness for the TRUTH!

I listened to this book on Audible this morning before getting out of bed. I truly believe my soul prospers in all things when I delight in the LORD, and this was a timely and necessary reminder. My mother passed into Heaven due to side effects of covid on January 7, 2021 since then I have been stepped in a grief so pervasive and incredibly overwhelming - I have known for months that this type of grief is not conducive to wellness in My mind, my spirit, my soul or even my body. My mother was a wonderful, loving and Holy Spirit filled woman- I believe she is free from the earthly troubles- and for that I am grateful to God. Delighting in God offers us peace- we still need to choose to clothes ourselves in HIS PEACE. This book reminded me of that- praise God!

Eric Gilmour is my ‘go to’ when I want to be hungry for more of God

Many times, I have to stir up a hunger for God: the cares of this world have quenched my desire. I know in my head that I need to desire God, but it’s not there. So, I go to one of Eric Gilmour’s books: it’s like fanning into flame an ember that’s almost going out. And, it works every time. Eric knows God. He knows intimacy with God, and he is imparting that desire to us. I am so grateful.
