The gospel is the offering of God's presence to men. It is the invitation into a life of experiencing God. The inspiration of our lives must be our past experiences of him; our satisfaction must be our present experience of him; our hunger is for our future experiences of him. I would much rather touch him than attempt to define him. I would rather move him than seek to simply understand him. I would rather know him than merely perform his works. Are you with me? Timely, practical instruction on daily interactions with Jesus.

This book echoes the burning desire in me to draw closer to Jesus. It doesn't stop there, but gives you practical ways to do so amidst busy schedules. It reveals that the gospel of Christ transcends written text and is a vibrant experience of the person of Jesus. Definitely a must read for all who are seeking a deeper relational experience of Him.

An awesome perspective on Christianity!

First, I love all of the books, music and messages that God has used Eric to share. There are a lot of people who were raised in religious systems from my generation who realize there's more than what they were raised in. But, because of their mindset, are frustrated in their failed attempts to get closer to God. This book helped me break out of some paradigms and take that next step in my journey. If you were one of those who thinks it's about your report card instead of His, listen to this and let Holy Spirit open your eyes to a better way to walk this out... God bless!

Transformational! Keys to How to Appreciate Him!

We were created to have an intimate relationship with the Lord. Yet, many of us struggle for whatever reason(s). In this book, Eric shares the Lord’s heart of wanting us and not our performance and stale rituals. i am excited about the inspiration, insights and revelation I've acquired through reading this book. i desire to adore, worship and draw near to Him the way He desires me to. Thank you Eric!

Brief but very rich content

This short address on the practice of an inner spiritual life is best described by the axiom, dynamites come in small packages. There are many powerful one-liners, both from the author and quotes of other greats ( like A W Tozer, Teresa of Avila, Mike Buckle, and over a dozen others). You want to pause and reflect from time to time as you go through this audio book. It is very rich content, and is best taken in small bits at a time.

Amazing truths

Amazing heart shared in this book. Only regret is that Eric wasn't the narrator as his voice is of a shepherd!
