This is a good book that probably does everything that it promises provided the user is willing to do a lot of work doing what the authors tell the reader to do.

Wrinkles with the audio version are that the narrator reads filled out versions of the form at the end of each chapter. All of that is good and well. But, it could be off putting if the listener didn't know to expect it or know what the performer was doing. Also, the attached exercise is slightly different than what is in the published book.

Again, be expecting these differences and practice the materials and this is great.

Didn't realize how many people pushed my buttons until I read this. Will listen to a couple of chapters again that will help me with my current button pusher! My ex always said it's a lot easier to pick and choose your battles. This book reinforces that philosophy. Well worth the time to read it.

I'm learning a lot about how to avoid button pushing by myself and others from this book. So much of it is avoidable if you're aware of what's going on. This is an audio that I'll listen to more than once - so many good points and Aha moments.

Watch out for self-inflicted button pushing

I enjoyed listening to this a few times. I played chapters 4 and 5 over a few times before they applied the most to me in this season of life that I am in now. The narrator was great and made it easy to follow and listen. I struggle with the application of the 4 steps; they were a little difficult to follow. It would help to read those sections. Overall, this was a good book and a new point of reference for me.

Insightful and sound advice.

This book is beneficial to anyone, regardless of where they happen to be in this journey we call life, if you are willing to be honest with yourself, you will grow if you take in all that this book has to offer.

Worth the money
