Mr. Beast Meets Fyre Meets Terrifier

Extreme Body Gore Became Repetitive And Boring… the surprises were sometimes good but often telegraphed and meh.

Unexpected and Disappointing

I usually love this author's spooky/paranormal vibe. However this book was tough to finish because it was none of those things. I'm not a huge fan of gore and How Bad Things Can Get was just blood and guts in mass quantities. So maybe it's a good read if you're into that, but this seemed rather outside the norm for what I have read and loved by Ms Coates.

Just like Petition, I wanted to devour this book.

Darcy Coates does it again! I did not want to put this one down. If you’re looking for a book with dark subject matters, a hint of horror, a lot of twists and turns, look no further.

Meh

Personally I found the narrator to be monotone and lifeless. Her impression of the festival host was particularly annoying. The story was alright, the bit about the islands history was fascinating and I wish the story had focused more on that and done something surprising and horrifying with a combination of the islands history mixed with the new inhabitants pasts. Oh well…missed opportunity i guess.

This narrator RUINED this book. I've still got 5 hours left and I'm so close to demanding my credit back. This narrator makes the whole story obsurd and sound absolutely ridiculous
