Thankful for heroines like Missey!

I loved this book! It is enjoyable when one is in their late fifties to have a main character middle aged. But Missey is also very smart, doesn’t just go all weepy and need a man’s help. She can think for herself and handle situations calmly and smartly. I truly enjoyed Missey and very much look forward to more adventures with her growing number of rescue dogs and the relationship with Max.
