Think “Bull Durham” in 2024. Great story of Conner (the pitcher in need of grounding) and Jackson (the seasoned catcher sent to get him ready for the majors). Loved the characters and the baseball team theme. Hope there are more stories for this crew in the future.

Narration was fantastic. Darcy Stark has become synonymous with Beth Bolden stories for me. Love his voice.

I loved the whole book I hope this a series Beth has a way of making her books very believable I always pre order her books . Thanks Beth from this legally blind man .

The narrator and writer both needed some work.

I liked the story as well as any other sports romance but the writing is pretty cheesy and dramatic at times and it's highlighted by the inflection that the narrator uses. Neither are bad on their own but together kind of made it hard to listen to. story is cute though. low drama
