character development

characters seemed believable. great story and the story wasn't so predictable that I knew the twist and turns before they happened. it was worth the read/listen.

This book was soooooooooo GOOD!!!! I really enjoyed it and will listen to it again. I hate now that it’s over because I have to find something else to listen too.

CCJ did it again!

I absolutely loved this story! The ending was perfect no lingering questions, but I do hope for a part 2! I could definitely read this book again! once you start you won't be able to put it down.

captivating- I couldn't put it down

Considering how the union began between the two; it didn't have a bearing on their undeniable chemistry which in the end proved to be the thing that not only drew them together but kept them together until they both realized they were each other's destiny. Oh such a romantic and sexy read.

This is an amazing love story that will have you on a roller coaster! I listened to it multiple times! I love it!!

Loved this book

Great storyline and great narration from beginning to end! I wish there was a next chapter to Nalani and Orion’s story.

So, so, so good!

Orion’s confident arrogance mixed with Nalani’s unwillingness to be a trophy wife was great! A great love story with so many unlikely twists. Now we need sequels about Orion’s brothers, too…I also cannot wait to read about the Blacks though, what the world!!!!!

CCJ never misses!

A tale about a marriage of convenience that unlocks family secrets that lead to a cute love story. I loved how Nala held her own throughout the book. I specifically liked that she wasn’t weak and waiting around for Orion to save her.

Wesleigh and Winston did a phenomenal job narrating, as usual 🤌🏾🥰

After 9+ hours, I still need more of Nala and Orion.

Also, the Blacks Family has piqued my interest. They sound extremely sinister. 😈😈

Hostile takeover

This is my new favorite from CCJ. This book kept my interest the entire time. This book is definitely worth listening to again. The narration was on point. Wesleigh and Winston did their thing. The characters were well developed. I like the fact I had no questions by the end of the book.

I’m still listening to this book but I can’t even put it down. You should read this book immediately sad it’s almost over
