Great character development!

Hot and steamy love scenes. Wonderful chemistry between the main characters. It’s clear this series is going to be stellar.

Another winner!

Such a good read! The male narrator isn’t my favorite but WS was amazing as always, and the author can do no wrong in my eyes.

Great Story and Performances

Anyone who reads a CCJ novel knows she can write the hell out of a spicy romance full of drama, suspense or action. This book is filled with family drama and is quite spicy.

Nala's family owns a successful grocery business. Orion's comes from a family of billionaires who are also in the same industry. He winds up buying the land and building and is raising the rent in order to take over the company. Nala is unaware that her father has gambled away their legacy or that the business has been in the red. Orion is intrigued by and attracted to Nala and makes her an offer she can't refuse, marry him and he'll give her the business and land.

Orion is a true Alpha male, but he is generous and fiercely protective of those he loves. I loved his relationship Grandma Calle. She is a hilarious character and tells it like it is, as you would expect a 96 year old woman to do.

After my second reading (audiobook), Wesleigh and Winston brought the story to life with their narration so I’m giving an extra star.

Take Me Over!

Christina C. Jones… lady you did your thang. This was the perfect enemies to lovers story, mixed with a lot of family drama. Not giving away a single thing related to the story and surprise appearances. I wish there was more than a five star rating, Can’t wait for Aires’ or Titan’s story. Also hoping Sorhen gets his own book as well. You know the narrators did their thing!

I loved this story

This book is definitely a favorite of mine. From the beginning of the story I was pulled in, and my attention was held the entire time. I want more of Nalani and Orion‘s story, and I would love to read about their brothers and Nalani’s friends.
