This book has been one of my favorites for 50 years.
My fear, that it Might have an absurd narrator, were quelled within a minute. THIS narrator, was Matched to the writer & material Perfectly!
I suggest you also try Hemingway’s True at First light, if the Safari days and Africana of that period suits your taste, you will like that one too.

Great book about old Africa and safari hunting. Great book by a great author Robert Rourke. A must listen for anyone who loves the outdoors and the draw of Africa!
