Great Book - Narration not so great...
I really enjoyed the story, but the narrator was clearly just reading lines. Not done as well as some of the others I have listened to.
But... the narration isn't so bad that I won't listen again.. the book is too good for that!

Loved it!
This was my first Irene Hannon book. I really enjoyed the story. I've already downloaded the next book! I definitely will be reading more of her stuff.

I liked the story...
I liked this storyline and the characters were likable. At one point in the story I thought Moira was being hypocritical with Cal, questioning his PI methods and truth. Considering she is a reporter I am sure she has been shady in getting her information for her top stories. Moira does tell about the scar she got when she met someone for info. For a story she wrote. Anyway, the story was good and I will probably listen to this author again. Recommend for those who like a good, clean Christian mystery.

great story, horrible narrator!!! sounds robotic
I really enjoyed the story, but was constantly distracted by how horrible the narrator sounded. it was like listening to a computer automated voice on a robo call. I will avoid all other books narrated by this person.

Good but dark
This book has great characters and suspense and is very well written. However, for me the darkness was difficult. The narration is very good. The ending is great.

Very exciting

Good...but
What did you love best about Vanished?
The story line was okay. A bit predictible, but interesting.
Would you be willing to try another book from Irene Hannon? Why or why not?
Yes. It wasn't too bad. Passes the time.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator is the main reason I'm leaving a review. As a person, I'm sure that she's lovely, and she has a great voice. BUT she pauses in all the wrong places and the voices she uses for different characters just doesn't fit. It just doesn't flow and can be very annoying.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Nope.

narrator ruins a good story
What made the experience of listening to Vanished the most enjoyable?
I loved the characters. It is a little thin in story line~but it is a first in series....The narrator is just horrible!! I might not buy the second because her fake male voice and rotten intonations are very distracting. I may just read this series.
