An entire story boils down to a simple, imperfect equation. But the equation is correct; in its own context.

Mark Levy has taken on an almost bizarre idea and turned it into a nice novel. He plays with all kinds of ethical medical issues, along with the basic life/death thing. I'm not going to spoil the story with the details, because to explain my opinion of the book, I would have to do so. You'll have to take it on faith; this is a good read, a couple of very unusual twists, and an ending that will leave you somewhat wanting. Read the book - you will understand what I meant.

Blindsided

I struggled to start the book but by chapter two, I was invested. I enjoyed how much effort was put into the first part of the book but the conclusion felt rushed. It feels incomplete. I know the story couldn't go on forever but the ending left me with a bad taste which is not normal when I read Marc Levy's novels. He's still my favorite though.

Not as predictable as you may think

I honestly really enjoyed this book. It was an interesting premise that seemed predictable initially. But in actuality, the story was much more complex. It was a quick read that I enjoyed!

The pay off is exquisite

Loved the ending! It was not thrilling listening to the first two thirds, though I stayed engaged and curious. Very good, if not great overall, but it is really worth it to stay till the beautiful end!

As always it was SUPERB!

Mr. Levy is a master story teller with a heart of a romanticist & a mind that is brilliantly creative.

Waiting with baited breath for his next wonderful novel to be birthed!

Had amazing lovely plot. The author continues to have great stories. And always different.

Immediately Hooked

I had to force myself to push pause and couldn't wait to start listening again. I was hooked from the first chapter. A beautiful love story with an unusual twist. I love Mark Levy's books and can't wait for them all to be translated into English.
