Narrator Spoiled It For Me!

Darn I was looking forward to this book; unfortunately the narrator really spoiled this audiobook for me. I really had to force myself to listen to the entire thing. The female voices were just okay and all the male voices sounded like teenage boys or younger...so irritating! Plus the narrator was not consistent with the voices of the characters so you weren’t really sure who was speaking at times. The book was really good when I could just ignore the voices and listen to the story. I would recommend to just purchase the ebook and forget about the audiobook for this one. I wish I had! If this narrator is the same for book 3 I will pass on the audiobook and purchase the ebook instead.

Brain Dead Storyline.

This is a romance suspense that is great for a rainy day or airport relaxer.

Fantastic Book

Oh my gosh. This was a GREAT book. I highly recommend it. The drama was amazing and spanned the entire book. The characters were well written, and the writing was fantastic. This is the best book I've read in a while.

Final Notes... The ending was made a bit more dramatic than it should have been. They did everything right up until the last 30 minutes of the story which should have prevented the final outcome. Other than that, it was another great story by CB.

this one was a much better and quicker read than this 1st one....now for the last!

Loved it! This is a wonderful love story. I laughed and cried. Such a great listen!

ugh, narration is PAINFUL

I almost stopped listening several times because this narrator was very lacking for the majority of male characters. Most of the time Matt and Collin were okay but occasionally Matt would relapse to a whiny little something like the other men. Big, strong firefighters being reduced to elementary school kids was painful. Part of story I gagged on was Austin at the pool hitting on Grace. Way too immature, even for an 18 year old boy. I don't know if I'll be able to handle Grace's story since it's the same narrator, but I'll check...

I absolutely loved this book. Such a good second book to the series. I'm so happy I saw more of Colin and Parker. The narrator took a whole to get used to but once I did, I loved it!

This second book out shines the first book.

Woo! I love this book far better than the first one. The suspense and danger surrounding Erin's life is a sensitive subject but the way it is written is absolutely brilliant and so gripping and engaging. The more I read the better the story got. I love families in the story and the way their lives intertwines in this book. I love the ending, it's brilliant.

Nice story - as always, horrible performance

I like Catherine Bybee's books, I never read one, always buy the audiobooks and always listen to them more than once. Not this one. While the story is entertaining and written in the typical Bybee-style, invites you to laugh and like the characters, the voice of Ms Sands made me cringe. Did anybody listen to this book before it was released? I don't think so. Please call Erin Bennett or Amy McFadden or another accomplished narrator for the next book.
