Meh- a little boring

No real climax. It’s sweet but kinda predictable. Will the overly religious old women be able to stop a group of 38yr olds from opening a bar in a former church building?! Zzzz- Snooze.

...loved it! Carolyn Brown is one of my favorite authors. You can count on a good story every time.

Heartwarming

this was a cute story with a homegrown feel which Carolyn Brown is known to deliver I love everything about it. the characters each had there own real to life ups and downs which all came together with love and the narrator delivered it wonderfully. I do recommend this book

pretty good

It isn't my favorite of her books, but it's pretty good. I do enjoy the voice actor too. it's an easy book to listen to.

Cute story

I love books by Carolyn Brown. This audio version has been great. It took me a bit to learn the voices for each character, but she does a good job of distinguishing each character.
