This book wad very full to even listen to!...and narrator didn't help the story along!! Don't know where Mr. Patterson came up with this book from. He should have left it to die!!!!

I could not put this book down

As I am a Visual and a Audible learner, I sometimes would follow along in my physical copy, I could not put the book down, there is like a series on the main character (detective). I would not say you would have to read the series in order, however if you would want a greater thrill I would. I only say this because the main character cracking the case has an interesting story and having all the pieces to the puzzle done before you put together the last few pieces finishes the picture. Awesome read all together.

Intense

The first story was more intense and interesting. The second pretty predictable. Both were a good choice for my husband and I to listen to on a trip.

Not a Fan

I don't really like the short story form. It just doesn't seem like you get to know the characters like you do in most of his books.

Die Hard Fan... But

The storyline was not bad but, the beginning scene where couple was held hostage drug on way too long. The most frustrating part is that they had ample opportunity to get to a phone and call the police, but kept getting distracted. Really!?!? As a reader I instinctively root for the victims. However, because it was carried out so long, I started to not care what happened. Also the story was a little hard to follow once it took a turn. Not his best work.
