I wasn't sure I would like true crime book in the audio form but to my surprise, it was really enjoyable. Just the right length for one listening session and the narrator had a nice tone for the subject. It was interesting reminiscing all these Hollywood celebrities that I grew up watching on T.V. or at the movies that had an horrible end to their life. I especially like the story about Bob Crane and John Lennon.

Great audio book!

This book would best be advertised as a primer on some of the most famous Hollywood crimes of the past 40 years. Each chapter averages 10 -12 minutes in length. Only the surface of each crime is truly scratched. Nonetheless, it is a compelling and all too quick account of show-business homicides. The narration does not stand out, nor does it get in the way of an overall brief but interesting book.

not much new here that I haven't read elsewhere. Also, while presented well, it's still rehashing virtually the same thing that most of us know through other reviews.

my take.
