Publisher's summary

Clay: I’m an assassin, and I’m not ashamed of it. I’m good at what I do, and the people I kill deserve it. One more contract, one more hunt, one more kill. To be honest, it’s getting old. Until this latest job. Suddenly there’s someone between me and my target. What’s worse is he gets the better of me, twice! He’s a problem I’ve never had before...and maybe even more.

Elliot: After years in the Marines, and playing personal bodyguard, I thought I’d seen it all. An assassin coming after the philanthropist I’m paid to protect was a surprise, but not really a shock. The shock came later. The assassin is a killer with the most beautiful eyes, and damn it, I even trust him...and more.

Clay is paid to kill, Elliot is paid to protect...the same person. The two men stand no chance together. But things aren’t always what they seem. As Fate conspires to change the rules of the game, will she change the inevitable outcome?

A Amazing Listen

I enjoyed this book even more than the first one . Clay is such a strong personality and I loved the fact that he didn't try to sugar coat his work and stood by his choices. The romance between Clay and Elliot is honest and sweet even though they are both complete badass men. I would love to see more of their story . Smith did a great job with the different voices and pouring a lot of emotions into the characters.

A steamy enemies to lovers, opposites attract romantic suspense!

This was a steamy enemies to lovers, action packed romantic suspense!
There was never a dull moment and I was absolutely captivated from the beginning.
Clay's job is to assassinate, but a hunky ex Marine keeps getting in his way and distracting him.
This was such an enjoyable listen.
The author's writing style appealed to me and I liked the setting of the story.

Keith Smith did an amazing narration and audio delivery.
If you like a fast paced opposites attract, enemies to lovers romance with suspense, mayhem and intrigue, you will love this.

Pretty good !!

new twist for Romeo Alexander . I enjoyed the story very much ! I have to admit that it’s partly because I’m invested in The Port Dale series but this was a refreshing change. Good story , the plot requires a hefty does of ‘suspension of disbelief’ but you’ll enjoy it .

Loved it

Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and this book did not disappoint. Keith Smith is new to me but I enjoyed his storytelling. I will definitely be listening to more of him in the future. I'll also be reading more from Romeo Alexander as well.

Great story, narratipon fail

I love Romeo Alexander's work and had read this book last year. Thought I would try the audio but the narrator pretty much ruined it for me. He kept pausing in odd places and it was so bad I didn't finish it. If you can get past that it is a wonderful story.

A fun and different kind of read for me.

I found myself with an unlikely enjoyment of this book. I must confess Romeo's books are a one- click buy for me so I didn't really read the description very well. At 1st I was "what in the heck.....and then its like hmmmmm I'm liking this story." lol
So take it from silly ol me, this book was well worth my money. I really was getting into the good guy/bad guy thing.
So have some fun and try this book out. I think you will be as surprised as I was. Happy reading.

Hitman vs. Bodyguard

Opposing sides with the same target. Who will come out on top? Well, as it turns out they both do.

You wouldn't think that these two men would have anything in common. After all, one is paid to kill people for a living with no way out and the other is paid to protect them for their personal security after leaving the Marines. However, you would be wrong. After a couple of run-ins with one another they too begin to notice that they are more alike than different. The undeniable chemistry between them, helps them realize that they might not actually be on opposite sides. Together they can get through anything.

This is not the book that I thought would come after "Two Straights, Too Many" but I really liked it. Keep on doing what you do Romeo Alexander.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love Romeo Alexander's books & Hit or Miss, to Kill or Kiss is no exception!!!!! Clay is Assassin & Eliott is a Bodyguard, one needs to kill his target & one has to protect his client. Unfortunately they are the same person. I love the twist Romeo puts in this book!!!!!! Keith Smith did a great job of bringing Clay & Eliott to life!!!!!!
