Murder mystery on campus!

I stumbled upon History Lessons and boy am I glad I did! It’s the perfect summer read; fun, quick, and has relatable characters that are so relatable. Zoe handles difficult topics skillfully without being overly dramatic. I look forward to reading more about adventures of Dr. Daphne and Chloe!

wonderfully woke.

A cleverly versed discourse of wonderfully woke dialogs, with just enough room to wriggle and unravel a laugh. A mild character and relationship tour through The Ivy League's modern coast, where the interchange of humanity nears palpable portions.

The mystery and the characters were both well done. The book was also well read.

A Solid Story

Excellent performance and a solid and entertaining mystery. It was compelling but not disturbing or heavy handed. The characters were really fun to follow, too.

Delightful mixture of characters, plots and setting

I hope this is the pilot book to a new and long series! I enjoyed its plots but esp the central character and her friends.

Really awful

It was recommended by NYT reviewer Sarah Weinman, and I’ll never trust her again.
It’s a strange combination of being too predictable while having strands that go nowhere.
