Single Dad Romance

Hired by the Single Dad by Whitley Cox is a contemporary single dad romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Allyson Voller and Zachary Johnson. This is the first book in The Single Dads of Seattle series and can be read as a standalone.

The book comes with a note "This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you."

This is the first book of Whitley's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I absolutely loved the relationship that bloomed between Mark and Tori. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Allyson and Zachary did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you love single dad romances, sweet romances, or contemporary romance.

Marvelous read

Mark, Tory and Gabe will melt your heart. You'll laugh and cry with them. Especially chapter 14 broke my heart, and from there until the end a lot of emotional moments. But the beautiful HEA made for all the suffering. Spectacular audiobook.

Hired By The Single Dad is the first book in the Single Dads Of Seattle series by Whitley Cox.

The idea of a group of single fathers supporting each other is fantastic and unique. Hired By The Single Dad has a great plot and is very relatable.
In this is single dad romance, the hero, Mark, has a child on the spectrum. I liked that this story included a child with special needs, and Gabe got portrayed very realistic. I also liked how the author put a spotlight on how autism affects the family of the child.
I loved the connection Gabe and Tori had, and the father-son relationship between Gabe and Mark also was very beautiful.
I quickly fell in love with Mark and Tori, but Gabe is the one who holds a special place in my heart. The connection and love between these characters are constantly tangible.
Mark and Tori's chemistry was evident from the moment they met. This couple is perfect and made for each other. Tori was the missing piece of this family's puzzle.
The sex scenes were well built-up, but for me personally, they were a little short.

Hired By The Single Dad is narrated by Allyson Voller and Zachary Johnson. They did an excellent job and brought this story to life. Their voices matched well together, and every emotion, action, the event was audible in their voice. In my opinion, they made the story even better.

Hired by the single dad is a highly entertaining audiobook. The narration is on point, the story is entertaining, and it will keep you engaged from start to finish. 

Great Short Listen

Loved this book for featuring a single dad with his son who is on the spectrum, these aren't characters I typically find in romance but I found it refreshing, real and heartwarming. This narration was spot on for the characters and I appreciated getting to know the other characters in the Single Dads Club. Looking forward to their stories!

One crazy night out with her friends, Tori is celebrating her divorce, and looking for a job. Her education is children with special needs. At the same bar, Mark over hears her conversation. She would be perfect for a position he has to fill. Mark is the father to Gabe, a cute, adorable special needs boy. He needs one on one assistance. He arranges for her to meet Gabe and offers her the job.
Their attraction to each other can jeopardize her job. One mistake from her past puts Gabe into danger.
Tori and Mark are a perfect couple. and Gabe is a remarkable character in this story.
Zachary Johnson and Allyson Voller are amazing narrators. they captured the personalities of each character with perfection.
