It is no secret that I love the Demon Gate series!! I only wish it had lasted longer!! ♥️♥️

Continuing Story GREAT...Narrator Fell Flat

I like this series but was disappointed with the narrator. The amazing voice-over in book 1 the natural masculinity and distinction of voices was amazing and then this narrator completely boches this book. I almost didn't continue due to the exaggerated cartoonish, girlish none masculine drastic voice change. In my opinion, the narrator is who makes the audiobook. I've purchased over 1k books and spend over 100 monthly through audio and unfortunately have had to return or skip over the books that through the summary would be awesome because the voices didn't match the characters. The overall story was good but if it were possible I would think about having the audio redone. I listened to the sample of the 3rd volume and was excited to hear it was back on track so, if you can push through with gritted teeth as I did you will enjoy the story.

The second installment has the next three episodes Hijinks, Charmed, and Lovelorn.

Brian Cordero is still getting used to being a demon. He’s still trying to wrap his head around how he feels about his mate, Raphael. Add into the mix the king of the Eight-level demon world: Adriel, who has his own agenda with Brian. On top of it all Brian has been tasked with preventing a portal from being opened that would no doubt unleash some hellish demons.

The character development and story arcs/plots are well done and contribute to great flow, keeping readers/listeners engaged and unable to put this one down. Not a stand alone novel, will make more sense if read in order as one story flows into the next.

If you like dark and gritty reads with spicy sex scenes that are kindle melting (or ear buds if you pick up the audible version) don’t miss out on this one!

The audible narration is spot on and keeps you into the world of demons.

Who’s your favorite???

This universe is brought to life and I want to be a part of it. After listening to Chosen I wanted to keep going and luckily Hijinks was out the next day in Audible. I love the chemistry and challenges with Raphael and Brian. To me if feels so real and true. Makes you stop and think what would you do if the Agato demon chose you? How would you go about accepting the new lifestyle? This story doesn’t pussyfoot around, it’s in your face brutal, sexy, and so good you want to keep listening. Good job to the narrator who has the sexiest voice bringing my favorite characters to life. Adriel and Brian are my favorite!

great story!

This series is addicting, I'm hooked!! The story is action packed and sensual! Loved Brian and Raphael, the chemistry between them is pure fire. They felt realistic. Michael O'Shea is new to me. He did a fantastic job with the narration! His voice is so sexy! Well done, overall this was a fantastic listen.

It just keeps getting better and better. Definitely not a stand-alone.

Very much hoping I get a chance to read/listen to the rest of the books to find out what happens.

Thank you for the ACX,I voluntarily give this book an honest review.  Brian isn't dealing well to say the least of his new role in the bedroom area, but pissing off a king!?! Yep not his finest hour. One perk of having Raphael as his mate was how much of a badassery his was. 
Picking up from Brian's *lovely* night at the hands of King Adriel, but Agoto work is never done..right!?!  Now only his mate or the king could get anywhere near his lower body, bummer! Again Narrated by: Michael O'Shea, which is amazing listen as the story progresses, He does bring the characters to life so easily.
